3 guys, 44 days, 11 countries, 18 flights, 38 thousand miles, an exploding volcano, 2 cameras and almost a terabyte of footage… all to turn 3 ambitious linear concepts based on movement, learning and food ….into 3 beautiful and hopefully compelling short films…
Just came accross Keith Davis Young’s portfolio and I really like the texture and isolation of his photographs.
Growing up deep in the verdant bosom of Bryan,TX, art came as natural to Keith Davis Young as sitting on porches and catching lightning bugs. After picking up a degree from Baylor University and getting his fill of fluorescent lighting, boardrooms, and 5 years in ad agency experience, he struck out on his own as a full-time freelancer.
Now specializing in design, photography, and bear hugs.
Make sure you click on the link at the after the serie to visit his portfolio because it’s worth checking these images when they are bigger.

“Humans have many levels of connection with their personal spaces. Narratives within these domestic spaces differ depending on the inhabitants and their activities that may be mundane, ambiguous, hilarious, absurd, or unsettling. The space within a house affects the inhabitants, and the inhabitants affect the space–an oddly intriguing phenomenon that proves difficult to visualize. Creating a photographic representation of such an abstract emotional experience was my motivation. The photographs take the perspective of an omniscient voyeur investigating the dynamics of space within a home. Ceiling mounted pinhole cameras cast an unflinching gaze upon the inhabitants and rooms within the walls; not to judge, but to witness.”

I just came accross Jessica Tremp’s beautiful portfolio.
Jessica was Born in 1981, Jessica Tremp grew up in Switzerland before moving to Melbourne at the age of 18. She brought with her a love for theatrics, romanticism and nature and has started combining these with her growing passion for the art of photography a few years ago. She uses herself as a model in most of her images and prefers an uncomplicated, organic, spontaneous and naturally lit approach to shooting.
These series of portraits try to blur the boundaries. Bounderies of species, loneliness and connection, submission and dominance, but mostly between the tugging lines of comfort and the eerie. Leading you into a world of ambiguous narratives hoping to instill a kind of emotional authenticity rather than a literal accuracy and clutch of moments of hope and trust in the unusual.

In a unique manner, David Drebin’s work combines voyeuristic and psychological viewpoints. He offers the viewer a dramatic insight into emotions and experiences which many of us have doubtlessly felt at some point of our lives.
After successfully completing the Parsons School of Design in New York City in 1996, David Drebin rapidly made a name for himself as an internationally successful commercial and fashion photographer. As early as in 2005, Drebin had his first solo exhibition at CAMERA WORK. This was followed by a comprehensive illustrated book entitled “Love and Other Stories” in 2007. This extraordinary development was recently put in a nutshell: “David Drebin has attained a kind of rock-star status in the world of fashion photography”. Among his exclusive circle of customers are businesses such as American Express, Davidoff, Mercedes, MTV, Nike, and Sony. His works are published in magazines such as Elle, GQ, Marie Claire, New York Times, Rolling Stone, Travel and Leisure, and Vanity Fair.
